Privacy

SIRs believes in the right to privacy of our visitors. We do not collect "cookies" for any reason.

SIRs requests information from visitors only if the visitor is requesting information from SIRs. The information collected is only as requested and strictly voluntary. We share that information only as requested: an example would be in our Directory.

SIRs maintains a mailing list for the exclusive use of SIRs. The information you provide to be included in SIRs mailing list is voluntary and only what is needed to honor your request.

SIRs requests information from you if you request an application for membership to SIRs. The information collected is to process your application request and/or to mail you an application.

In all the above situations, SIRs collects information about visitors only to the extent that the visitor supplies the information. In all the above situations, SIRs does not share any of the information with anyone without your express authorization.

The only information shared is for the purpose of a directory listing in which case all information is shared with other visitors seeking the business services of those listed. You, our visitor, are free to view the information which is listed in the directory about yourself. You are also encouraged to review your own information from time to time to ensure it remains accurate.

SIRs web server collects the IP address of each visitor only as a result of the functioning of the servers. The IP address, which identifies your computer and its vague location, is not saved on a day to day basis and is only used as an identifier as to the number of different IP addresses visiting our website. It contains no specific information about you.

SIRs actively collects the IP address of each visitor who submits form mail. The IP address is recorded into the form mail. The purpose of collecting your IP address along with the information you voluntarily enter in the form mail submission is to assist with validating your submission. Multiple submissions of different form mail information submitted from the same IP address may be ignored. This procedure will help to maintain the integrity of SIRs mailing list, applicant process, and directory. Form mail submitted without the needed IP address identifier may also be ignored. If your firewall prevents the IP address from being logged into the form mail: you may not receive an application; you may not be added to our mailing list; and/or may not be listed in our directory. Abusive form mail submission, such as multiple form mail submissions from the same IP but with varying information in regards to name, address, email address, phone number, etc., may be blocked from accessing SIRs web site. SIRs intent is to discourage the submission of information which is not yours to submit. Visitors are encouraged to submit only information about themselves and not other people/businesses whom they may know or be aware of.
